Tonight just after 11 p.m. Ozone between Speedway and Ocean Front Walk became the new transient resting spot in Venice, with another encampment at the empty lot at Ozone and Pacific. A rough count put more than 45 sleeping along the stretch, with accompanying pets and piles of debris. A number of calls were generated about fights and noise. Here we go again, again.

Time to turn up the fire and get rid of the crusty punk campers.
THESE PEOPLE ARE BREAKING THE LAW AND NEED TO BE ARESTED AND TAKEN AWAY. STOP PLAYING THIS CHEST GAME WITH THESE BUMS. UNTIL A ZERO TOLARENCE ATTITUDE IS ADOPTED BY EACH AND EVERY RESIDENT, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS HOMELESS CRAP. THIS IS WHAT THE RESIDENTS ARE LIVING WITH ROSENDAHL, VNC, SOCIAL SERVICES, STEVE CLARE, WHOLE FOODS, LAPD AND WE MUST NOT FORGET THE HOMELESS ARE ALL CRAPING ON THE RESIDENTS OF VENICE. THME TO TAKE BACK OUR COMMUNITY.
I’ve been cleaning up out there almost every day for a month but in the past week things are really beginning to spiral out of control and I have had enough. I have called HAZMAT and complained and told them I will call daily to requested cleaning the area up. Others can call Steve Pedersen, Chief Senior Officer of Water Shed Protection, at 323-342-1571. They have scheduled a clean up for this afternoon but as I had said until there are no more homeless on the street they have to know they are using the area around here including our yards and walk street to relieve themselves so if the City isn’t willing or able to open restrooms then they have to clean the area daily cause it smells like a toilet out here right by a senior day center, a senior housing facility and a playground. Seriously, please call Steve every day.
Well what can anyone really say,you can talk and talk about it but nothing to much really happens to prevent it. From what I can see it would not be so bad if they did not bring carts piled so high that if they was by the airport they would need a light on the cart that haul’s their stuff, a sleeping bag is one thing but a cart? I really don’t know what anyone can say because you never know when ANYONE of us will be homeless and might need to sleep on the streets. One other thing I think the people who owns those building where they are sleeping outside of should give them brooms and trash bags and make them clean up after themselves when they wake up.
