The east facing wall of Danny’s Deli, which was host to the mural called “St. Charles Painting” painted by Terry Schoonhoven in 1979, is being painted over. The elements took their toll… a new mural has been commissioned by an artist named Jonas, selected by Simone and Werner, and will feature a 1940′s style postcard. Thanks to reader Betsy G. for the correction on the original muralist.
