The basketball courts, you know the ones by where all the drug dealers hang out on 18th… yeah. Those basketball courts… are being completely refurbished and were supposed to be done last week. Just one one main court is done and after running behind schedule, they picked up the pace this week and started ripping out the surface so it can all be repaved. Drop dead due date is Friday night because Red Bull will be here Saturday for a big event… chop chop! The drug sales and prostitution that normally take place at the cement bleachers have moved to other areas of the boardwalk, but are expected to resume in full when the courts are reopened.
