Rip Cronk Spruces Up Legendary Jim Morrison Mural

Venice muralist Rip Cronk is sprucing up one of his most-photographed murals. The legendary Jim Morrison mural has been on the side of the building facing North on Speedway and 18th since 1991. A facelift in your 20′s is such an LA thing to do….

The building is the new home of ThermoLife health products, and the rest of the building was just painted by another Venice muralist and graffiti style artist Dytch.

  1. Stunning. Saw it back in 2005 and thought it was excellent. Looking even more impressive now. Two great artists come face to face.

  2. I love it! The building and mural both needed a new paint job. And colorful, yes! White (and it’s many shades) is so boring and conformist anymore. Well done! Thanks to artists, owners, business.

    awesome!

  6. The old mural, historical. The new bad bumper sticker art horrible, and tacky. Restore the side, keep your front for branding , also you need to give a better clue to what your product is, a small statement.
