No, You Can’t Sh!t In A Bucket On The Sidewalk, Even Encased In A Tent

Disgust in Venice hit a new low today as “activist” David Busch, known for wearing a watermelon rind on his head and a toilet seat around his neck, created a homeless restroom on the sidewalk at 3rd and Rose out of a tent and two 5 gallon buckets. Mr. Busch, a homeless enthusiast, seems to have made 3rd St. his site for martyrdom, focusing a lot of his energy on making it “OK” for throngs of transients to take up permanent residence in the area. This population includes many drug addicts, dealers, and those who seem to choose to stay on the street rather than opt into a system that will move them towards housing and stability. Todays episode in what is a daily sponge of LAPD and City of LA resources, wether stunt or well intended idea, landed Mr. Busch in jail. You can’t defecate in the street, be it in a bucket or otherwise. As a result, representatives from the Dept of Sanitation, and other City Officers, and of course LAPD were on hand as the homeless enablers leered on as Mr. Busch was cuffed and led away, and hazmat began the tedious process of cleanup.

I don’t even know what to say at this point. When left for one day, those who occupy the area abuse it beyond what any neighborhood should be expected to tolerate. At this point, it just seems like a vindictive game of seeing how you can manipulate the City of Los Angeles and the legal system to live in absolute squalor, and unsafe surroundings. I only hope the tipping point is fast approaching.

David Busch was on a misdemeanor public nuisance charge.

Cuffed in the back of a squad car, David Busch watches as multiple agencies expend costs to deal with his stunt.

Just wait until we have hot days.. This area would be a focus of infections. In the parking lot of the Rose Cafe, some of the transients they poop and pee right there during the day. We have to do something because this is quite serious. It’s very frustrating that Mr. Rosenthal doesn’t see to care about us, the ones who we pay taxes and we work hard to live near by.

I’m actually kinda glad this happened. It took some dumbass to dump sewage from a frikin RV to make change. I wouldn’t be surprised if David was involved in that one as well.

Maybe now our useless politicians will let the police do their jobs.
