At around 7:15 p.m. Sunday night someone set fire to about 7 trash cans along Ocean Front Walk and the park around the Paddle Tennis courts. LAPD and LAFD were on scene within a few minutes. The fires burned hot and long and seemed to have an accelerant dumped in the cans before they were set.
We talked to one of the homeless in the area. He said that the child drones who have healed eyes and nostrils and mouths came in Princeton school uniforms and tried to blend in as they set the fires… so there’s that.
