Crews were out early today putting up more vending / park closure signs and painting the pagoda areas. LAPD continues to hand out cards and copies of the new vending ordinance as the days of full enforcement approach in mid Feb.
The line for the shelter was also moved from the grass at Market to the main basketball court. Quite the displacement that really has damaging impact no matter where it is.
That is not luggage, It is garbage that needs to be tossed in the trash.
Your photos bring up a couple of points. 1) I thought vendors could no longer erect walls like the tattoo person has. 2)The “luggage” situation is out of control and I suppose it grows as the day goes on, this also was supposed to be against the law. If these people are going to the shelter at night, can’t some arrangement be made for lockers to keep their stuff safe and where people won’t trip over it?
