UPDATE: We received confirmation that the shooting today at the Barber shop near Lincoln and Marco Pl was gang related. There were three victims. One shot in the foot, one in the leg and one in the chest. All survived their wounds and have given statements to detectives. At this time all suspects are outstanding.
A shooting just occurred at 1900 Lincoln Blvd. An airship has contained the suspects in a perimeter around Amoroso and Marco and Penmar. They are hiding at an auto body shop. One victim was shot in the foot and another was transported by unknown means to a local hospital with wounds to their chest.
No word yet on background. Male Hispanics wearing blue bandanas. More to come, LAPD is combing local hospitals. They are also looking for a black F150 with a camper shell. Male Hispanic driver.

Gangs are from bad parenting..Some parents are on drugs and don’t want the kids to begin with, so the kids finds love from other broken kids that then form a gang or are already in the gang. The real story here is that some completely random guy randomly ran into a business and started shooting completely innocent, uninvolved people for no reason. Is that what happened? If that’s it then I apologize for unfairly characterizing the situation.

I have yet to see a ‘local’ use the shop and everyone on my street whom I have spoken to have been waiting for something like this to happen there. Hopefully the landlord will shut it down and the person can ‘hustle’ elewhere and something moves in that appeals to the real residents of the surrounding neighborhood. Our security is the most important issue here.
