Arson Terror Possibly Over - Suspect Detained By LAPD in Massive Net - Arson Fires Stopped

Thanks to @hideaf for the image on right.

In the wee hours of Monday morning LAPD and LAFD were once again scrambling all over Los Angeles as the serial arsonist was setting cars ablaze once again. With preparedness, massive deployment and coordination LAFD was prepared to get to fires fast and knock them down quickly, and deploy to the next location which they did swiftly. LAPD had dozens of units on stand by with an airship to look for, stop and detain any potential suspects, which they did swiftly also.

A suspect was detained at Sunset and Fairfax by LAPD. Arson investigators arrived immediately. The suspect was said to “strongly resemble” the man captured in video footage from the Hollywood & Highland cameras from the scene of one of the arson fires. Once he was detained, the fires which were being set in rapid succession… stopped.

From monitoring over 6 scanner channels simultaneously, LAFD and LAPD have cleared all staging, all extra units and are back to “normal deployment”. Sure sounds like they have their man. Let’s hope so.

The arson terror may finally be over.
