At the Community Police Advisory Meeting tonight, Captain Peters related information about home burglaries that have plagued the Mar Vista area. Los Angeles area gangs are so well known for visiting adjacent areas and committing home burglaries that they have even taken to making rap videos touting their exploits. The following video actually shows a simulated “door knock” to home burglary in one of the better known rap videos by the “Rollin 30′s”. Take note, if you can tolerate the music… this is exactly what we all need to be on the lookout for!
