Many know Michael Hunt for parading in front of the police commission meetings in a KKK outfit, or for being the recipient of a check from the City of LA NOT for winning a lawsuit, but for losing a lawsuit and the City executing a clerical error in his favor, with which he promptly went out and bought three very expensive cars. He didn’t need them today when he was arrested for outstanding warrants, most offensive of which was a battery / assault with a deadly weapon charge from a “vending area dispute” on the boardwalk several weeks ago. He got a free ride to jail from LAPD.

Officers from the Pacific Division CIT unit ( Crime Intelligence Team ) approached Mike on the boardwalk next to his Shea Butter stand. Mike went along quietly, making several phone calls and getting someone to take over his operations on Ocean Front Walk. It is believed that due to his recent award from the City, Mike is no longer eligible for a public defendant now that he can afford a criminal defense attorney, which will be necessary for the three pending charges against him.

I saw this guy dump over his entire bucket of bath salts, scrape it back in the bin and set them out for sale. Who regulates this guy? I didn’t think you could apply lotion or hair products without a health permit. Can you?
unfortunately, regulations allow giving free samples. this means that mike hunt can rub shea butter on unsuspecting customers time after time without washing his hands or even sanitizing them. too bad you didn’t get a video of him packaging the dirtied bath salt.
