While most of Venice was asleep, LAPD began pursuit from 7th and Rose behind a green Jeep seen making a narcotics transaction. The driver of the vehicle tossed approximately 5 bags of “white powder” out the window in an attempt to dump the drugs. The suspect was apprehended just off Beethoven St. The audio from the pursuit and the call to shut down Rose Ave to recover the discarded narcotics is below. LAPD works hard day and night to fight crime for Venice!
