Beach sergeants Vasquez and Curtain saw a man drinking an open container of alcohol which is against the law. When they went to detain the man and write him a citation the man was not cooperative. His friend then started to interfere with the officers and they told him to back away. He did not, and while distracting officers the first suspect fled. Officers chased the suspect, and the friend took the alcohol and fled in another direction. Both suspects were caught and instead of a ticket for open container now face several serious charges.
