Here’s video of the latest scumbag trying the doors of the cars in my carports this morning at 5:36AM. Common sense - do not leave anything of value in view on the seat or dashboard. Please note: this is the classic Venice thief dress and modus operandi. Cover as much of your body as possible to avoid identification, wear gloves, have a bicycle (very important) in case a quick getaway is necessary, always have a backpack for that larger item you don’t want others to see, wear a helmet to look as if you are out for your regular morning bike ride even though it’s 5:30AM. This guy has some unique clothing, helmet, camouflage pants, etc., so LAPD may have seen him around.
