Today Tony Vera responded to a car that was on fire parked in the garage of the Lincoln Inn Motel next to McDonalds on Lincoln Blvd. When he arrived at the scene, LAX fire had responded as the primary engine. When LA City #63, our local fire dept. is out on a call, LAX covers for them.
There were lots of kids in this motel, and it was a very upsetting situation for them. The firefighters took the time to put some of the kids in the truck and ease their tensions and fears while they worked to put the fire out and make the scene safe. There were no injuries.
