The Venice Breakwater Fountain is broken, and we are rallying the support of anyone who loves Venice to donate even a small amount to help refurbish this wonderful part of our multi-faceted park.
Budget constraints have park operations at a minimal level so we are looking to supporters to help us raise the money specifically for Parks & Recreation to fix this fantastically fun fountain that is fueled by the ocean. Long time resident Bill M. said,
“It is really a nice fountain that was built an an homage to the pipe that goes out to the breakwater and when a wave would come in it would shoot out the hole in the pipe. I remember seeing it when I first moved here in 91 and it was Venice Beach’s version of Old Faithful.”
Venice Beach is known worldwide as a funky, fun and artsy gateway to the beautiful waters of the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles. Millions visit Venice every year from near and far to see the boardwalk artists, surf the breakwater and relax in one of the most beautiful parks on the planet. Help us fix this wonderful attraction in the park so the world that visits Venice Beach can enjoy it!
