Yesterday was the annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at local Los Angeles City Fire Station #63 in Venice Beach, which helps the fire station get much needed equipment and supplies through their booster organization. The supportive Venice Beach community showed up in droves to support our local fire fighters, who the day before delivered a baby in a car on Lincoln Blvd!
It was a great event. Kids were able to roam around the fire trucks, there was a band and a DJ, a bouncy house and one of the fire fighters had a 160 lb. Burmese Python that he rescued from a fire call over a decade ago when it was very small, and now it is gigantic! Venice Beach’s own Tony Vera, who was once a performer on the boardwalk that was a fire blower was there to show his support too. Here’s Tony’s video!
