Venice Beach Walking Tours has been created to uncover the hidden stories and salty past of an enchanting artist’s community that is still thriving today. Venice Beach is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the U.S. It’s number 1 in Los Angeles County, visited by more than 5 million people each year. This select Venice sightseeing tour will provide visitors from all over the world with a 2-3 hour “insiders” walking tour of famous Ocean Front Walk. Meet the locals; see the street performers, Muscle Beach, famous film locations and experience a glimpse of what it truly means to be a Venetian.
Venice Beach Walking Tours is the brainchild of Jeffrey Solomon, a well known Venice Beach insider who has lived in Venice for more than 40 years. Now, visitors will have the chance to experience this historic and eclectic California beach community from an insider’s perspective. Each Venice Beach Walking Tour includes a wonderful lunch at the famous Danny’s Venice Beach Bistro and Bar.

About Venice Beach Walking Tours
Hello. My name is Jeffrey Solomon and I want to personally welcome you to Venice Beach, California, Los Angeles County’s number one site seeing and tourist attraction.
I was born just three miles north of Venice Beach, in the township of Westchester, California. As a kid, growing up in the 1930′s, my uncle performed swan dives for tourists off of the Santa Monica Pier and my brother and I used to dodge the Howard Hughes Tool Company security guards in order to go fishing in the Santa Monica Bay. In the 1960′s I walked Rose Avenue in Venice with my pet South American tiger on the end of a fifty-foot chain and believe me, nobody messed with me!
I’ve done a lot of walking in my life and it’s given me time for great reflection. I have a theory that everything loose rolls west and that’s what eventually happened to me. I landed back here, back home, in Los Angeles, on the far western edge of the continent, as far west as I could get, my back against the Pacific Ocean and my heart facing the city. And that’s where I’ve been for over thirty years, living in and loving Venice, meeting its people, collecting its memorabilia and roller skating to the beat on the Venice bike path and along the world famous Ocean Front Walk boardwalk.
I was on the original Venice Town Council and am currently a board member of the Venice Chamber of Commerce and the Venice Community Trust. I don’t think there’s a single organization here in Venice that I haven’t touched or been part of in some fashion. And there are very few people on Ocean Front Walk, Abbott Kinney Boulevard or on the historic Canals that I don’t personally know by name.
