At approximately 10 p.m. Thursday evening four male Hispanics confronted a couple at Pacific and Washington in Venice armed with a silver handgun and demanded a cellular telephone. The suspects reportedly fled south on Speedway. The suspects were wearing jeans, and the one brandishing the handgun was reportedly wearing a grey hoodie. This is the second armed robbery involving a handgun in the past week. Canali cafe was robbed at gunpoint earlier in the week.
