Armed Robbery at Canali Cafe

At approximately 6:30 p.m. two men armed with a handgun entered Canali Cafe and quietly demanded that the cash register be opened. A male Hispanic brandished a handgun with a black male both wearing hooded sweatshirts. They took the large bills out of the cash register and witnesses said they fled in an older model white Nissan Maxima parked on Strongs drive, fleeing north. No one was hurt during the incident and patrons were largely unaware that anything had happened. The thieves got about $160.
