We received several emails today regarding police activity in various locations in Venice.
Pacific area detectives, beach officers and gang officers conducted approximately 37 parole, probation and registered sex registrant compliance searches with the assistance of LA County Probation Officers this morning starting at 6 a.m. which resulted in multiple arrests. These sweep searches are conducted regularly to ensure that the individuals are complying with the conditions set by the court for their release, and is an important initiative in keeping our area safe and crime free.
