Woman Locks Cat In Car - Animal Regulation Called - Video by Tony Vera

Today we received a call from Tony Vera who was flagged down by someone who saw a cat locked in a car for hours. We drove over and called Animal Regulation, and then left to continue doing our graffiti cleanup. Animal regulation came and after talking to Tony and the neighbor for a while, the woman finally showed up. Animal regulation informed her that you can't leave any animal in a locked car with no water. Her car had totally bald tires and one flat tire – and she accused everyone on the scene of slashing her tires. She kept threatening to call the police, and seemed to disregard the multiple people around her including the animal regulation officer telling her the it is inhumane to lock a cat in a car for hours with no water. Instead she felt she was wronged and targeted.

A blanket over a headrest is a habitat for a cat? I can only imagine what her house looks like, and if it is her or her surgeon dad that is addicted to Mountain Dew. She’s nuts.

  2. rokkit says:

That woman should be ashamed of herself. That is horrible.

  3. madeleine says:

I’m horrified that the cat was not taken away from her. One doesn’t just one day leave a cat in the car - the cat is in danger.

  4. tonyvera says:

I have 4 cats you dont do that to a cat dog baby

  5. Peter Steeves says:

I have just finished a phone conversation with the woman in the video - she called me because she thought the Guardian Angels were involved. It turns out that a 72 degree day could easily kill an animal in a car.
