Report Submitted to Venice 311:
Areas behind Venice Clinic on Rose and 6th. Homeless camp out on walkway and bushes along Clinic/6th St. then proceed to urinate and defecate behind the building trash dumpsters as well as behind neighbor trash cans, underneath tree foliage directly behind the clinic. We live on Flower directly behind the clinic and many days we pull out our vehicles into the alley to be greeted by piles of human feces and feces covered paper towels directly at our rear gate. The smell lingers for days and is just disgusting. Since the police have been clearing out the RV’s it has been getting a little better, but homeless will still camp out at the clinic and whenever they are there, human waste follows.

Venice 311 Actions:
Went to alley and took photographs. Contacted the VFC and are distributing notices to the residents in that area to see if they would be agreeable to having motion detecting lights installed in the back alley in the problem areas. Discussion of adding a 24 hour security patrol are also being discussed.
