In an act of profound stupidity - a CUSTOMER of a medical marijuana dispensary on Centinela came into the shop, checked in as a customer as he had before - and then with two friends beat a female employee and robbed the place of money and weed. The forward thinking owner had a bevy of high resolution cameras installed and they have loads of crystal clear video of the whole gang and their act of brazen cowardice. A car was abandoned in traffic lanes a short distance away during the time of the robbery. It was towed and is being investigated by LAPD to see if it is related. When I rode by the owners were on the way to the hospital to check on the employee to make sure she was ok. LAPD was still on scene pulling video and dusting for idiot-prints.
If the owners were ACTUALLY forward thinking…they would have had a security guard for the place, and not just a young girl responsible for checking in customers and selling product. The OWNERS are complete idots and should be held 100% accountable for this TRAGIC turn of events. I hope the employee sues the shit out of them.
