UPDATE: our friends at City News Service passed on some info that the man was a Venetian writer, born in Budapest, named Les Plesko. He had a few beat-inspired novels, some well reviewed by the NYT.
Around 10:15 a.m. A man who was described to be in his 50’s jumped from the 4th floor roof of a building on Westminster between Innes Pl and Park Row. Several people at the dog park saw him jump. It is not known if he was a resident or not. LAPD was taping off the exterior stairs that led to the roof. He may have gained access from the street.
