City, Community Working Together to Address Youth & Family Violence
Cradle to Career Group Will Take Lead in Moving Community Response to Shootings Forward
What: The City of Santa Monica, Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, Santa Monica College, and Cradle to Career Group Partners will hold a press conference to announce immediate approach to addressing youth and family violence in the wake of the June 7th shootings. The Cradle to Career Group will take the lead in moving the community’s response forward through a highly collaborative public/private partnership.
The press conference is open to all members of the media. Additional details regarding the plan will be available immediately following the press conference.
Who: Statements will be made by lead Cradle to Career Group Partners, including Santa Monica City Manager Rod Gould and SMMUSD Superintendent Sandra Lyon.
