Bogus $20 Bills On Ocean Front Walk [PHOTOS]

Unlike $100 bills… most people behind a cash register don’t check $20 bills with much scrutiny which makes them easier to pass. What sucks is that the retailer gets jammed with the cost… as banks are set up to immediately detect fake bills and have a policy of not accepting fake currency (obviously). In this case the retailer was Zelda’s Corner, the best sandwich shop in Venice run by two local awesome folks… and that extra pisses me off.

This CNBC episode of “American Greed” details a huge ring in LA that was run by Albert Talton in Los Angeles.
