Found him! He’s super thin. We fed him and took him to the West L.A. pound tonight. Go get him and feed him a big juicy steak! What a sweet dog.
I’m so so so happy he has caring owners and a home! He was one of the sweetest dogs, and I can’t explain how happy I am that he has a place to go home to.
Pamela & Rachel: Duke is now safe and sound back home! You are right that he is the sweetest dog. We live just down the way on Palms. Keep an eye out for us in the neighborhood as we are out and about often and would be happy to formally introduce ourselves and make acquaintances.
A friend said best what Duke did not say in words, “I know you were only gone for 20 minutes, but I didn’t think you were ever coming back…So I freaked out.”

A giant thank you to you Pamela! Duke has always been super thin and super sweet. We like to say that he’s a mix between a lab and something that never gets fat! We were visiting friends for dinner down the street when I ran home to pick up some supplies. He must have snuck out and tried to follow me.
He’s never far from me or the kids and has never ran off before. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your kindness. We are going to spring him in the morning. Thanks again to you and to Venice311!
