If you follow the Venice 311 Twitter feed you see it every day, usually multiple times a day. Police call for a “Battery just occurred….” then just fill in the blank for the location. Usually by the time LAPD shows up all the parties are gone… but here is a GREAT example of a bunch of hooligan kids kicking the crap out of some guy with a bongo – even a chick! He screams for help on the ground while they punch and kick and beat him with his own drum! (how insulting and ironic!) All in front of Larry’s on Windward after the bars shut down… pretty sad!
