Last nights National Night Out Against Crime was a blast! The Pacific Division Cadets opened the event and then helped distribute plenty of hot dogs and cheeseburgers to a hungry crowd of neighbors & LAPD officers as they readied for the softball game. The Westchester Neighborhood Council helped host and Mar Vista and other local neighborhood councils attended. Mark Antonio Grant presented officer Drake Madison with a certificate of recognition for his dedication and work as a Senior Lead Officer and in organizing such a successful neighborhood watch in his area.
This event is a bunch of fun. Lots of great information from Rob Kadota and the Community Police Advisory Board and who can’t resist a bit of joy in throwing a softball at to a cop! (just kidding). Really… next year you shouldn’t miss it!
